This a rare timepiece, double signed by Defender Watch Co., it is a vintage Defender mechanical wristwatch dated from the 1940s.
 
It is a manual-wind watch with Defender Watch Co. movement, caliber 005, 17 jewels, sub-second, unadjusted, Swiss made.
 
The original champagne dial with gold Arabic Numerals, bold minute track, and gold matching hands. The sub-second is located at 6 and the dial is also signed with the Defender name/logo.
 
A very elegant design, this watch is cased in a beautiful 25.5x29mm tonneau shape case with stepped sides and fancy lug design, stainless-steel back. It comes on a new-old-stock black Dynasty Genuine Leather two-piece strap.

This watch is still a very attractive looking wristwatch, runs very well and keep great time!

This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.

The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
